After graduating from California Polytechnic State, Dustin focused on completing the classes and finishing hours in the veterinary field that he needed in order to apply to Veterinary Schools. The summer of 2012 he spent most of his time balancing between going to classes at the Graham School for Cattlemen in Garnett, Kansas and the International Embryo Transfer School in Senatobia, Mississippi. Dustin was taught by Dr. Peter Elsden, gaining the skills and a strong base of knowledge he would need in order to attend Veterinary school.

Later that year he got the chance of a life time! Dustin was accepted into St. George's University in Grenada, the West Indies, a fully accredited American Veterinary Medical Association school- in the Caribbean!  In January 2013, he began his journey of veterinary medicine education, alongside his veterinary path, he and Andrea married in June of 2015. After obtaining his final degree, Dustin began his clinical year at Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.

During his clinical year at LSU a previous Professor, Dr. Judge,  told Dustin about Stroud Veterinary Embryo Services, owned by Dr. Brad Stroud. Following the recommendations, Dustin would then spend two separate, one month externships at Stroud Veterinary Embryo Services, learning under Dr. Brad Stroud. Upon finishing his clinics in January 2018, Dustin returned to Weatherford, Texas to work for Dr. Stroud. He also worked alongside Luke Jones and Cody Blue- who would end up being his future business partners!  Dr. Hollister received his diploma from St. George’s University in June 2018 for his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and has been actively practicing since.
