Cody Blue
Cody was born and raised right here, in the heart of Parker County. He grew up around livestock so it was only suiting that he continued pursuing his passion for animals by turning it into a future career. After finishing high school in 2006, Cody attended Howard College, in Big Spring, Texas where he obtained his Degree. Directly after school, Cody managed an Event Production Venue in Mineral Wells, consisting of but not limited to- livestock events, rodeos, concerts, and local events. Alongside the venue Cody managed and help run productions of a large construction company. Quickly figuring out that livestock was where he wanted to be, Cody was determined to get back to his roots. Having obtained skills and knowledge is business management, he began his path of livestock production.
In 2008 he and his fiance- Elisabeth, welcomed their daughter, Addison, into the world. Cody put his construction skills to work and built a home for the growing family in Peaster. Cody and Elisabeth married shortly after in March of 2010. Once settling in, he began to focus on his career.
In 2011 Cody accepted a job working for an Equine Production Clinic, quickly advancing to the head of the department. The following year, Cody and Elisabeth got to meet baby number 2, a little boy named Easton! After a couple years working in the Equine industry, he decided to transition his skills to Cattle. He was offered a job to work with Dr. Brad Stroud in 2015. Cody took the job working with Dr. Brad Stroud and his brother-in-law, Luke Jones without hesitation. He has not looked back since!
Luckily for Cody he gets to share a passion for livestock with his daughter Addison, who is very captivated by livestock. She is very involved with showing, and caring for cattle, and sports. Not only does his daughter keep him on his toes, Easton keeps him busy with sports, games, and practices. Easton is very competitive in playing many different sports.
Cody and Elisabeth are both very involved with their community and supporting today's up and coming youth, through several different organizations, programs, and groups . In addition to keeping up with the family, sports, and shows, Elisabeth is the Peaster 4-H Club Manager. Cody is excited to be a part of positively furthering the cattle industry through his knowledge and skills.
